Looks like a dance studio. Our OFA phone banks are held in a garage, and when it gets too crowded and noisy the phones move outside to the yard. Good buzz!

12. It IS a dance studio, as a matter of fact. They are the other tenants

on the same floor as the Dem offices & kindly let us use their space. Phone banking is going on in a couple of other adjacent rooms as well. In fact, because of my bad hearing (ever since exposure to loud noises that I experienced during my hiking & camping tour of Indochina in the late 60's), I went into one of the quieter rooms so I could hear. That whole floor is a busy place, with street canvassers coming in & out, data entry ongoing, etc.

I wasn't aware of a gender imbalance when I was working. It may be a sampling fluke when this picture was taken, or maybe it's real, but my impression was that there were a lot of guys doing it too.

13. Lots of us were using our own cell phones. There were also lots of ATT cell phones available.

I used one of theirs only because I had forgotten mine in my car.

public buildings that used to be the venue for efforts such as this will likely be closed to them in the future.

14. No, it's an old private office bldg. That room is a private dance studio.

The Dems occupy 3 other rooms on that floor, which are also bustling with activity. The dance studio people let us use their space.
