many decisions are 5-4 depending on the issue. Many decisions are actually unanimous and some are 6-3, 7-2, etc. Another conservative like Scalia would continue the trend we have seen for the last 30 years, but if Obama, Sanders, or Clinton gets the next nominee, it could be 5-4 in the other direction depending on the issue before the Court.
