They now charge for school supplies, bus service, field trips, sports, lab fees, science projects, etc. etc.

students getting passed through the system without the skills needed to go on.. plus what you listed.. where is the money for those things.. I know teachers who use their own money to bring in supplies .. and our community college system is overwhelmed with people needing remedial classes..
