(40,416 posts)I love Liz, but I cannot see a way that she gets the nomination.
First, it has become important to nominate a fairly young justice, one in their 40's or younger. Just right there, Warren would not be considered.
Plus, there's the deal where I think she wants to be a senator where she feels she can do some real good. I am all with her on that.

(42,714 posts)I doubt Obama is going to pick someone who is overtly politically partisan. Only six sitting senators have ever been selected for the Court and the last time it happened was over 70 years ago.
