Your vote will help decide who the presidential nominee of the party will be, but that's just the beginning. Once your primary is over, you can get to work healing differences and convincing people to vote in November and to encourage others to do the same. Who the nominee is is less important than winning in the general election.
It's far from too early to start thinking about November. However you feel about the primaries, you can get started on helping Democrats win for a broad range of elected offices. From your local elected officials and state legislative seats to your congress member and Senator, there are races at all levels that will be decided.
November is hugely important. Primaries are just the foreplay to that act. Everything depends on what happens in November. Even if you're already weary of politics, or especially if you are, you can turn your focus onto the general election and help Democrats win. That should be the goal we all share.
Let's do it!

(28,347 posts)We need Democrats in Congress, and we need to elect Democrats in our state houses, and local elections, too.
Dire need to clean up our states of Republicans, especially the teabagging kind.
We have to keep an eye on 2020 so we can wipe out the disastrous and unnatural redistricting.
We've got a lot to gain by voting, and worse, a lot to lose if we don't.
