EDIT: massive fire in north Mumbai

OK, sounds like it's all "OK" now... Huge fire at a festival in northern Mumbai; PM and several Bollywood stars were there. Seems to have been an electrical issue. Anyways: the "panic" phase is at least for now over...

1. The picture of the theater fire was horrific

with half the stage ablaze and thick, black smoke starting to fill the theater.

Theater fires are the worst: it's dark, it's crowded, and exits are always too small and too few.

The fire started during a cultural program due to a short circuit under the stage.
