aaaaaand Facebook (on Scalia's death)

Anyone find the timing of his death too convenient? With Obama losing in the Supreme Court lately and now the most conservative judge passes. Me smells something rotten in Denmark.

Steve, I was saying the same thing. Also, he died of "natural causes". I'm no conspiracy theorist, but this is the most ironic thing I've ever seen. Something tells me the truth will surface years from now.

The thought did cross my mind. We will see? Bernie may not survive to make it to November. The Clinton's Will end his life because that's what they do!

America is absolutely screwed if the Senate allows any more Obama appointments. I guarantee you, the most conservative Justice on the Supreme Court did NOT die of "natural causes." This was intentional -- given the cases they will review this session -- and this "natural causes" death couldn't have happened at a worse time for our country. Night of the LongKnives comes to mind here and I'm certain it will get worse this year.

Justice Antonin Scalia's passing is even more tragic considering the timing of this horrible news. Because the Republican majority will inevitably cave to Obama's demand to swiftly approve his newest Supreme Court appointee, both Executive Amnesty and unilateral Gun Control will now most likely survive what were expected defeats, as will the EPA's radical new global warming regulations and unprecedented power grab. If that's not bad enough, voter ID laws are now in great peril as liberal activists are guaranteed to find any means necessary to get illegals to the polls and dismantle the last remaining vestiges of electoral integrity. If Red states and GOP leaders do not unite to take an unflinching stand against this rogue tidal wave of progressive tyranny, his death may be the final lynch pin in uncontested statism.

The President's insatiable desire to implement his backwards agenda at all costs, eagerly bypassing Congress with unconstitutional regularity, reaffirms the disturbing reality the Supreme Court is perhaps liberty's last check against his dictatorial aspirations. For without laws and a strict separation of powers, America is nothing more than a third-world banana republic distracting the ignorant masses with the fearful tales of class, race, and religious hatred. Rest in peace, Judge Scalia...you were one of the last true conservatives and steadfast patriots who served truth, justice and the American way. You will be missed.

I don't think I've heard that line since the 1950s original Superman series starring George Reeves, where Superman always called Lois Lane "Miss Lane."

Of course, reading the post by the RWNJ, one could be forgiven for getting the impression that his version of "the American way" is the one promoted by Joseph McCarthy.

Scalia committed suicide over many decades through a combination of obesity, poor diet and sedentary lifestyle.
