Scalia's Brilliance Was Wasted On Destructive Policies And Beliefs.

Scalia was brilliant but it was wasted on dead end policies that hurt people. He was an ideologue, a racist and a bigot of the worst kind. He was no better than Cruz in the end. Brilliance used for wrong causes is truly a waste. He could have used it for good.

but it won't be. Over the next week or so, we'll be treated to people who hated his guts singing his praises.

anti-brilliant maybe, like the opposite of goodness, of Christ, is the anti-Christ.

Truly brilliant people are way past thinking base, foolish thoughts such as having white skin makes one superior to people with black or brown skin. No way is a white supremist brilliant.

IMO Scalia was clever with his word usage and ability to deliver wordy, convoluted harangues, but brilliant, no. His bigotry and the damage he did to the country stopped him from reaching that height.

My con law professor Larry Tribe could think rings around him. So can Judge Richard Posner, who demolished his book on constitutional interpretation brick by brick.

Scalia was a second-rate first-rate mind at best.
