I wonder how he can be in two places at once. It is 10-9 without him there. Could the Democrats peel one Republican at the critical time to get it to the floor? Still 60 seems impossible in this environment.
The clock will probably run out, but I would have to think that Obama should use his remaining political capital to get a nomination through. It is the strongest way to establish his legacy.
