Marco Rubio apparently cracked a molar Wednesday night while eating a candy bar aboard a flight to Washington, D.C.

On Thursday, the Republican presidential candidate told reporters that the candy bar was frozen.


“I just bit into a Twix bar and I go, ‘Man this Twix bar’s got something really hard in it,’” Rubio said of the incident, according to The Wall Street Journal. “And I go, ‘Oh my gosh, I cracked my tooth.’”

You're likely to hold the wrapper, which being thin will warm up quickly and your skin won't notice, and why would you use your lips for a Twix? (you might use your tongue while transferring it to your molars, though - I bite chocolate bars with my incisors, myself). I've never cracked a tooth doing it, though. You just give up trying to eat it, and put it in a pocket to warm up.
