So regarding President Cruz or President Trump

Many Americans seem to have either lost their common sense, or never had any. They are well down the road to electing a President Cruz or a President Trump. And it's questionable whether the Democratic turnout in the general election will be able to stop them.

There's no need to spell out what a President Cruz or Trump could do to this country. Cruz could steer us into the Armageddon he's been waiting for. Trump could steer us into a sea of his own narcissism with no charts.

Right now, we, (and the rest of the world), are in actual danger because it's quite conceivable that either of these two men could end up in the White House. And today, whoever sits in the Oval Office has the real and actual power to destroy the world. ("Finger on the button," etc.)

Whatever it takes, --WHATEVER IT TAKES -- we cannot allow Cruz or Trump to ever get near the Oval Office.

Right now, we Dems are so busy fighting among ourselves, that we are paying only peripheral attention to people who can no longer be categorized as "clowns."

So what do we do about it? I don't care if we put up Bernie or Hillary, or Hillary or Bernie. Cruz or Trump could beat (or steal it from) either one of them in today's political environment.

Here's the bottom line. How do we keep two really dangerous people from getting into the White House? And it's a question we have to deal with now, not after the upcoming election.

Cruz doesn't have a chance. It will be tRump or a brokered choice. Either way, Bernie will win. Kip Humphrey Feb 2016 #2

"so and so" WILL WIN in this forum.

There ain't no magic in this world. And Cruz or Trump could really end up being the end of all of us.

As I keep repeating - - - I am from Texas and I never thought anyone was stupid enough to let George W. Bush occupy the oval office.

I take nothing - absolutely NOTHING - for granted in politics.

and frightened right across the political spectrum through the vast block of moderate conservatives and beyond. I do think both Trump and Cruz have done a great deal to defeat themselves.

My own top priority among our own candidates is that he or she be the person most likely to be seen as a viable alternative for appalled conservatives.

It's the logistics of of doing it that are seemingly overwhelming.

Put another way, I love the idea. I, for one, wouldn't know where to start.

Reagan was an amiable imbecile who ended up getting elected. Twice.

W was appointed by the SCOTUS the first time. The second time, Ohio was stolen.

We can't take it for granted that "... either would get creamed ..."

I believe we have to actively stop it from happening. I just don't know how.
