How the Russian State Media and German Neo-Nazis Spread a Fake “Arabs Raped Girl” Story

On January 11 a 13-year-old Russian-German girl from Berlin, Lisa F. (the full name is known, but I’ll omit it for privacy reasons) disappeared. After calling the police, her parents and relatives began to spread the “missing person” posters on the internet and apparently in the meat world too. The next day the girl returned home and claimed that she had been kidnapped by three men of “Arabic appearance” who spoke practically no German and raped by them for 30 hours.

After a police interrogation the girl confessed that she had made up the story, but the parents insisted that the police coerced her confession for politically correct motives, in order to defend the migrants.

Rumors began to spread in the Russian community in Berlin, some people even claimed to have seen Lisa without nails. Unsurprisingly, the news also spread like fire among the Nazis. The journalist Boris Feldman of the Russian Germany weekly, says that the relatives then contacted the NPD – the German neo-Nazi party.
