A few years after losing our big dog and my partner working nights we started looking at getting another . After contacting a local rescue if they had anyone that would work With two children 5 years and 3 months a small dog a cat and some rats we wonted to be 100% we found someone that would work not only for us but them.

We got told about Buddy he was an 8 year old shepherd cross, His story was he was from an 8 year old from a family that had 8 kids and they had no luck in finding somewhere that would accommodate them and him so he was left at the pound, The photo they sent me broke my hart he seam to have just lost all hope head down not seaming to notes the camera at all.

I had to meet him we had him come and meet us all and he was the sweetest wanting to please darling I had ever met played like a puppy and just wanted to be touched, we had him for a trile and it quickly came to light that something was not as it seamed was he good with kids and fine with the other but he was wary of my partner and then a week into having he when my partner came home from work and got changed when Buddy herd him undo his belt bukel he curled in on himself and wee'd on the floor.

I disided then and there he was staying with us, After some changes that involved buying string pants for my partners work we kept him.

Almost 3 years later and we still have him with us .

And while we still have triles he will not get on the bed with Jack he's happy to cuddle up with me

Sorry about the spelling stuff I'm dyslexic

And good on Buddy, too! The two best dogs I've ever had came from shelters. I think they know it may be their last chance.
