In a hundred years we'll all laugh about this.

Since I intend to still be posting on Democratic Underground on that date.

And I shall be the most ancient, crotchety, untombstonable DUer in history. That guy. He who shall not ever resign his username. The Old One.

And I shall post a link to this post. And it will be a little shocking to imagine all the things I didn't know were coming.

The alien fire ant invasion, perhaps, or the intelligent nebula that rebooted everybody. I bet it was tough to post during those particular crises.

But Elad and Earl G persevered, I'm sure. Oh, perhaps Skinner wandered off and became a gas, but the important guys just went further underground.

And I shall continue to post on Democratic Underground long after I am digitally recreated in those days when such things will be commonplace.

And ten thousand years shall pass. And oh how I shall humble-brag about that fact.

Just wait.
