were hoping he could bring all of that. he comes from an important swing state, he could appeal to hispanics, younger people etc.

but the problem was Rubio himself being an empty suit. a high school class president could probably do better than he did in the debate.

and none of it should be surprising considering how he missed so much time in the senate. he is an empty suit and failed the first instant he was called on.

but he sucked during the SOTU response also so there was never anything appealing about him.
