at least 2 x a week. For months. After Mom passed away, I pushed "1" to talk to someone. Er, please, (said I), my mother just passed away could you please stop these calls. *hang up*. Two days later "This is Carmen from Credit Services".

and she doesn't seem to mind that I hang up on her all the time. She just calls back a couple of days later.

Redefining 'final offer', by offering it near daily.

We had a furniture store (at least I think it was furniture) that held a going out of business sale that seemed to last about 20 years or so.

From "Card Services", "Account Services", or the "Lower Rate Department". But when I press 1 to talk to a real person it's usually a guy in India.

8. I got the IRS guy. I told him he made a big mistake, calling an actual IRS agent.

Never have I had anyone hang up so fast.

I don't work for the IRS, but you know the saying - first liar doesn't have a chance.
