Ever seen that expression many refer to as "Shit on yer lip?" It's something between a sneer and a frown, that looks like the sneerer smells a whiff of shit in close proximity.
OK, now check out this Chris Christie ad. If you 'ginned up' a drinking game where you had to take a shot every time you saw "Shit on yer lip" you'd be drunk before the ad finished!!!!
Bonus yucks for his awful choice of footwear!!

(64,933 posts)happened. While I was trudging up through the filthy and deadly dust from the rubble as I left Wall Street, you sat there jacking yourself off at your law office in Cranford, NJ realizing that this was a boon for the repubican party.
You and all your little fan boys&girls can go fuck yourselves.

(42,770 posts)drama is to people. It certainly wouldn't make me run out all excited and happy and send him a check. All the pukes are extreme downers. Filled with hate for fellow human beings.
Wow, what a horrible thing you have to relive in your memory. Sorry for that.

I like his use of bobbleheads. Nice touch.

Every idiot in the race is flinging ads up at us. All we can do is laugh....

(135,425 posts)I don't think he has a fortune to travel around, so it's probably a town hall in one of the early states!
I think the goal of this ad is to keep him alive, nothing more. New England does have connections to Nahn Wun Wun given that Boston was a major failure of security in that whole process and a lot of locals died on one of those planes.
I think he's trying to pull that string with this ad...but I just can't take my eyes off those awful shoes--they look like bedroom slippers that lace up! Have to wonder if his bag got lost and he was wearing those loose, floppy things on the plane, and his "good" shoes went to Dubuque or the lost baggage room or something!
I've seen that ad x2 in the last hour...
NOW they're showing a Jeb! ad narrated by none other than DUMBYA!!!!
I can't wait until this primary is over....

(32,084 posts)I live in South Carolina. I have been seeing mainly commercials for Rubio (even more awful, BTW). Of course, there are still 2 weeks until the primary, so it is just a matter of time before it will start popping up here, too.
They play the Rubio ads during just about every commercial break on some nights. Each time, I give thanks to the person who decided that it was a good thing to add a "mute" button to the TV remote control, as I hit that button. What a slimy POS, although that describes the whole lot of them.

(135,425 posts)He probably doesn't have as much cash as Rubio so he's watching his advertising dimes and quarters.
People in SC, also, might not give as much of a shit about Nahn Wun Wun and "fear." I don't mean to sound callous when I say that, but one of the planes did leave out of Boston and had a bunch of New Englanders on it. A lot of the local papers and television stations across the region did obituaries , memorials, etc., and by the time they got done people felt like they knew the deceased even if they didn't. It had a rather personal vibe that for some, still resonates.
What issues are pinging in SC? Guns? He likes those.
I don't know how well his bellicose personality will sell down south. We'll have to see how he does in NH. I think he'll run out of cash if he doesn't have a strong performance tomorrow.

(32,084 posts)I don't think his personality is an issue, however. They LOVE Trump here, and he is just as bellicose and awful as is Christie. Speaking of who, I just saw a commercial not long after I posted this last night. It was the first one I have seen. He was bashing another local favorite, Ted Cruz. Yeeeeccch.
