Republicans abandon all pretense of respecting President Obama, refuse to hear his budget proposal.

'Congressional Republicans aren't even going to be making a show of being the loyal opposition, or bothering to resemble a responsible governing party any more. In this election year, the last year of President Obama's final term in office, they're plumbing the depths of their petty and disrespectful relationship with the president.

In a harsh partisan snub, the Republican chairmen of the Senate and House budget committees—Senator Michael B. Enzi of Wyoming and Representative Tom Price of Georgia—have chosen not to invite Shaun Donovan, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, to testify about the administration's plan, set to be released on Tuesday as part of the traditional budget week festivities.
"Rather than spend time on a proposal that, if anything like this administration's previous budgets, will double down on the same failed policies that have led to the worst economic recovery in modern times, Congress should continue our work on building a budget that balances and that will foster a healthy economy," Mr. Price said in a statement.

Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the House Democratic leader, called the decision an insult and said it was representative of the "corrosive radicalism that has gripped congressional Republicans." White House officials said it raised doubts about the frequent Republican leadership claims to restore "regular order" in Congress.'>>>

Methink Sen Sanders will soon have a new residence, and will spend the following 24 months working his ass off to get them all fired. I think they know it, too.

Nothing will be sweeter than a true-Blue House in 2018.

I'm oh so happy that the health insurers are taking care of that, it's such a difficult burden having to think for my itty-bitty serf/peon self. Without them, I just don't know what I would do..probably something self-interested and therefore utterly terrible, I can tell you that.

The Corporate State has been writing checks again that the GOPBase isn't capitalized enough anymore to cash.

I'm very much looking forward to this election. If nothing else (and it's far from that) the election of President Obama showed us that we can elect whoever we damn-well please, and the 'they' can't stop us if we really mean it. I think theyre figuring that out as well, and theyre really starting to lose their shit over it.

You know for a fact that some Republican or other will go on one of the talking chucklehead shows and complain about how the administration didn't even send a witness to the budget committee hearings, so the administration shouldn't be heard to complain now about Republican inaction. The talking chucklehead will nod along, as if hearing the gospel truth. If there is someone on the set who remembers that the Republican-controlled budget committees refused to call the budget director to testify, the chucklehead will suddenly deem the segment out of time, and that "we'll have to leave it there." As if there's no way to ascertain the truth.
