Why the hell aren't the Dems going for the jugular against Rubio *now*...?

...anyone see the new *Newsweek* cover? Of Young Marco against a backdrop of a sinking South Florida? For Chrissakes, southern Florida may be starting to sink beneath the waves, like Atlantis. Young Marco hasn't indicated that he gives a shit. He's supposed to be their Senator. His history of ignoring his Senate duties, and seemingly being proud of the fact, makes him a sitting duck. People in Florida aren't insane, they must be concerned about this. The American people aren't insane, *they* must be concerned about this. *This*--right now--is when Young Marco will be defined. Forget the fact that he wasn't won the nomination yet, forget the fact that the Dem race is undecided. The party has to define him, and do it now before he's able to define himself. Here's the perfect issue, handed to them on a silver platter. It makes him look utterly clueless and idiotic, as if he's more concerned with the GOP's subhuman "base" than with the most obvious threats to the general welfare. Has the Dem party forgotten how to go for the jugular? Could you imagine what FDR, Truman, or LBJ, would do to Young Marco right about now?
