Michigan Senate Passes Bill Saying Sodomy Is A Felony Punishable By 15 Years in Prison

http://www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/johnwright/michigan_senate_passes_bill_saying_sodomy_is_a_felony

The Michigan Senate has passed a bill that effectively reaffirms the state's unconstitutional law making sodomy a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

Michigan is one of more than a dozen states that still have sodomy bans on the books, despite the U.S. Supreme Court's 2003 ruling in Lawrence v. Texas declaring them unconstitutional.

Some states' sodomy laws specifically target gay relations, but Michigan's is among those that make oral and anal sex crimes illegal regardless of whether they're same-sex or different-sex. Michigan is also one of several states with a sodomy ban that's intertwined with a prohibition on bestiality – effectively equating the two. The law makes it a felony for anyone to commit "the abominable and detestable crime against nature with mankind or with any animal." If the person is already a sex offender, violations are punishable by life in prison....

"The minute I cross that line and I start talking about the other stuff, I won’t even get another hearing. It’ll be done," Jones (photo, above) said. "Nobody wants to touch it. I would rather not even bring up the topic, because I know what would happen. You’d get both sides screaming and you end up with a big fight that’s not needed because it’s unconstitutional."

Well, I'm certainly glad the Flint situation has been resolved, giving the Senate time to move on to other stuff. And there is a certain irony to the imposition of a lengthy prison sentence for this particular offense, n'est-ce-pas?

They're trying to ban animal abuse, so OBVIOUSLY they have to throw an unconstitutional blowjob ban in there just to be sure the bill they want - which would pass easily as a standalone act - makes it to the governor's desk.

We need an All New Law to curtail this kind of shit: if you sponsor a bill that's unconstitutional when you write it, you get fined one session's pay, you get locked in your county's jail for as long as they can keep you, and you lose the right to work for the government even as a volunteer. It'll also provide for the new position of Guardian of the Constitution, a retired appellate judge lawmakers can have their bills approved by.

by these morans. Re-passing an unconstitutional law doesn't make it any more constitutional, and any judge would immediately throw the case out of court if somehow someone was arrested.

It's UNCONSTITUTIONAL, you fucking dipshits.

No oral? Probably, a bunch of guys who won't go down on a woman and probably never had a blowjob. They don't know what they are missing.

In Florida, an oral sex ban is still technically on the books. Between giving and receiving, I suspect my fines would exceed the national debt.

Michigan's Teabagger Legislature. He's typical of them all, and explains why Rick Snyder isn't worried about being impeached, or asked to resign. They only see the Flint water crisis as a public relations problem, and that we should all just "calm the heck down". Those were his actual words.

Would that be the biblically-based sodomy defined in Ezekiel 16 : 49? For those unfamiliar with the prophet, his oracle is "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy."

Now, who best epitomizes that sin: Arrogant, overfed and unconcerned. Who doesn't help the poor and the needy? Who, then, is truly practicing the detestable, abominable sin of sodomy? Sounds to me like Sen. Jones is living in a 100% Milgard home.
