Pay attention. Pay close attention to the media, who are now engaged in kingmaking

The story line is simple: The voters have looked at Trump and Cruz and are not fully satisfied. Many are now looking at Rubio as the one who can unite the party and beat the Democrat, be it be Clinton or Sanders.

If you pay close attention you will hear that line of "thinking" from every talking head on every media outlet. I suspect, at least at the outset of this stage of the Republican effort to win the White House, the story will be told in subtle messaging, not in your face.

The media are owned lock stock and barrel by the 0.1%. They want a win and they want a useful idiot in the Presidency. Rubio, the laziest Senator, maybe ever, is that useful idiot.

in decades. You can see that this leaves the GOP in a complete tizzy--Rubio may be the consensus nominee. Not because of his greatness (lol), but because he's young, Latino, and hasn't pissed off everybody yet.

Understand Ailes is in bad shape and needs a walker to shuffle his large ass about. Notice today his boss is pimping John Kerry as a fall back to his 10k he gave HRC. Also, major layoffs at Fox entertainment division and a major restructuring is under way.

T.Boone Pickens and his ilk have been promoting Rubio for some time and are leading the charge to dump Trump and Cruz. Remember what Ike said, beware of the MIC and a few wealthy Oil men from Texas.

It's the flavor of the week. Not king making at all, just the routine rotation of the focus to maintain the drama and the horse race.

The "liberal" schtick was just that. Schtick. The owners were not liberal. They just saw liberal viewers as an underserved market and tried to capture it. The new owners are more right wing ideologues and can't tolerate the liberalism on such display.

They have turned, however, in recent months. Since the Comcast takeover they tracking right along with Fox. Even the liberal host shows are much, much, much more "fair and balanced".

they are emboldened because of his third place finish in iowa. cruz won't win outside fundyworld, so expect an ugly battle between the establishment rubio and the antiestablishment trumpites.

i expect their fight will be just as ugly as ours between the estsblishment and those looking for a new path and to overthrow the oligarchy.
