I really don't know if I can do this, but I need some help

I started a GoFundMe page. https://www.gofundme.com/d6ndjbpk

I don't know if this is allowed, and this is terribly embarrassing, but I need some help. I don't know how it happened, but my bills have really caught up to me and while I've been able to make due for the time being, significant increases in my rent, credit card bill, and electric bill have made it increasing difficult to meet all my financial obligations. I have a second job, but it's slow in the winter months and that second source of income has all but dried up until spring as it's largely an outdoor job.

I hope that you can take a look at my page and perhaps give me some help. If this isn't allowed, I am very sorry. This was damn hard to write this. If you can help, I would be incredibly gracious and appreciative.

Thank you,

Steve

but if you are really on the brink of bankruptcy and in crisis mode, I would seriously consider cancelling the cable.

I don't know if I can even get out of it. I tried calling them the other day to get the bill lowered and all they offered was more services at the same rate AND restart the two years, but there was no way they could reduce the rate, they said.

Their retention specialists are trained to try to sell you other services to keep your dollars flowing in. If you repeat "No, I'd like to cancel my contract" eventually they will get to telling you what the termination fee is.

If you're asking to lower the bill you'll get the runaround, but asking to cancel should trigger a different script.

We're within weeks of cutting our cable (just waiting for some hardware we ordered to show up from amazon so we can just run off netflix and amazon prime). I cannot WAIT to get that bill out of our lives.

duration. I will donate tomorrow. I left my damned purse in the car and its freezing out there as I stand here at 1:00 am in my bare feet reading the internet. Remember, you are not the sum total of this. This is circumstances and we've all been there. You are loved and needed and wonderful. That is who you are. Not this. It will pass. Take care, honey.
