Congressman Trey Gowdy just made the 'most hated man' in America Martin Shkreli more likable

How does this guy do it? He grilled Hillary Clinton for 11 hours and made her more likable.

He has somehow done the same thing for Martin Shkreli. I was kind of on his side when Gowdy tried that ol southern fried trick of 'oh, well you can answer questions' - then Shkreli answered, "I am following the advice of my lawyers, not you".

Does anybody agree?

A guy like Shkreli is usually worshiped by the likes of the rightwingers on this committee.

So I am a bit confused why they are doing anything but congratulating him.

5. I do agree, sadly enough

The Committee had to know that since Shkreli was under indictment, he wasn't going to be volunteering any answers that might be used against him in his criminal proceeding. Gowdy and his gang just wanted to bring him in and look tough for the teevee cameras. I'd rank this up there with the schoolyard bully challenging the kid on crutches to a foot race and then crowing about how badly he beat the kid. Shkreli was correct to label them imbeciles in his post-pinata tweet.
