IHeartMedia Inc., the radio broadcaster struggling under $20.6 billion of debt

The business was bought by Bain and Thomas H. Lee in July 2008 in one of the last mega leveraged buyouts before the credit crisis.

The firms paid $24 billion for the radio and billboard company that spawned IHeart, formerly known as Clear Channel Communications Inc. and has been battling ever since under the debt taken on for that deal.

This is the all powerful Beck-Rush-local guy-Hannity on tape station. Pure crap but old time Richmonders religiously cite it as their news source.

This guy works there and he said that they just went through yet another management change. I think the manager runs all 15 or so iHeart stations. He told me that the new manager was "beyond liberal". I cracked up.

Perhaps that's a part of the problem.
