She told me tonight she wont vote for a republican anymore. I asked her if she was going to vote at all in the next election and she took a minute to think it over then told me no. Her reason centers all on the ACA and the republicans being against it, of course its a selfish reason but there it is. Of course I told her again about Sanders plan of medicare for all and she listened. The tide is changing.

(7,299 posts)Its not about the primaries, its about my mom not voting for republicans now. I can also talk about she likes the ACA that is a result of Clintons and all democrats hard work to even it out for you if you like.

(7,299 posts)My mom was not a fool. Maybe she was fooled in politics but we are are all fooled by something at some point. Just because someone was fooled in one thing that doesnt make them a fool. I understand you didnt mean she was a fool, but like I said, a bit harsh.

(39,343 posts)I hope she'll never vote republican again, that proves she's no fool.
That being said, my family is full of fools. I didn't mean to be harsh, my bad.

(7,299 posts)I think if you changed it to "billionaires and the fooled" that would be better. But whatever, its not even a big deal.
