I'd call it
"Recollections".
It would be a group where we could post things from the 'good old days'. For laughs and to preserve some of the funny, unusual, off-beat stuff we remember from the past.
Someday, when we are long gone, some young whipper-snappers can read and wonder what the heck we were talking about.
Posts would be something like this great one that is now current.

Agree and I will propose to the Admin's.
As they get older, they will be able to add their own 'recollections. Never be as good as ours but--everything is old at some time.
I think it would be great fun. Something to divert from the incredible stuff we are reading now.
Edited to add: This is for 'real world' recollections, not DU stuff. For those of an age.....

(66,388 posts)I'm not really big into 'the good old days', which weren't always good. But a group like this sounds like it might be fun.
DU was a lot of fun for the first five years or so. Looking back, I think a lot of it was due to a sort of 'party while the world ends' vibe. But if getting back to the original DU feel meant bringing back the days of Dub-yah, I'd take a pass. Those were awful, awful years.
