Every Howdy Doodie fan knows that Willard Rmoney is nothing like Howdie Doodie, nor like Clarabell the clown.

Every Howdie Doodie fan KNOWS that Willard is the evil spawn of Phineas T. Bluster. Love the name. It's like Foghorn Leghorn in Loonie Toons.

Lots of talk; no content.

Google is your friend. Try "Phineas T. Bluster".

Scott Walker . . .and whatever the personality traits, he looks like Howdy Doody and Gabby Hayes.

Google Phineas T Bluster. Howdy Doodie was a Democrat, as was Clarabell

BTW, Buffalo Bob Smith was the single person who gave rise to the move of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from Henry Ford Auditorium (a venue that was guaranteed to show a world class orchestra in its worst light) to the old Detroit Orchestra Hall, with wonderful acoustics.

The eastern European conductor Antal Dorati, music director for the DSO, laid down the law. I will never again conduct a symphony season at Ford.

And so it was. In Detroit, symphonic music is played in the old venue, one that put the emphasis on music instead of money.

Just like the old Fox Theater.

And the Grand Circus Theater, today's Detroit Opera House.

Detroit is a wonderful cultural landmark. Don't get me started about the Tigers.

I simply noted a similarity in physical appearance.

I have only been to Detroit once ... a convention some years ago. I would like to go back.
