The former Pennsylvania senator will make an official announcement Wednesday and endorse a candidate, CNN reports. Santorum received less than 1 percent of the vote in the Iowa caucus.

Santorum had to be delusional to believe that the American public would accept him as a serious candidate for President. He should have seen his dismal showing in Iowa coming months ago.
