(23,155 posts)No tears here and even a little hahahahaha is felt. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He deserves some bad results (karma) after that low down Terri Schiavo stunt he pulled. I'll never forget or forgive that indecency.

(12,132 posts)and as bad as he was, I think gov. skeletor is worse. Pretty sure he's gonna let 'em frack us to the depths of R'lyeh.

(23,155 posts)Yes, sad to say, he makes Jeb look sane. Don't know if FL can ever recover from all the harm he's caused.

(446 posts)From Iowa last night was the complete failure of Jebby after all the money he spent. He ended up with what, about 2% of the vote.
The BUSH family name can't sink low enough as far as I'm concerned.

(12,629 posts)that each vote cost him about $3,000. Well done, Jeb!!!!!

(6,401 posts)McCain was considered toast and came roaring back.
Plus there was no way he was going to win Iowa anyway. He is an "establishment" Repub and the "establishment" voters went with Rubio (which is less than 25% of the Iowa GOP, scary huh?)......and Rubio with his inexperience, better have an awesome team to keep getting lucky.

(10,500 posts)The only one who is finished for sure is Chris Christie. He is no longer part of the so-called establishment lane out there. I think that voters finally saw him for who he is after he castigated that young girl who asked him why he didn't stay in New Jersey after the storm.

(28,342 posts)I would give Christie a better chance of hanging on, He's certainly a more overt jerk, but that's an endearing quality in the republican primary voter base.
Jeb is just a craptastic candidate. Nobody cares.

(90,793 posts)I laugh at him for acting like a dweeb's dweeb, but the real issue is his position in the Bush Crime Family. He has already indirectly brought this country untold harm by rigging the Florida election in 2000 and allowing his brother to be president. For that he should have been in prison, not running for president.
He's hanging on hoping for a brokered convention is my guess. I hope the entire family feels his humiliation.
People moan that the Clintons and Bushes are founding presidential dynasties but that is very wide of the mark. The Clintons are one power couple, husband and wife. The Bushes are an entire multigenerational extended family, politics and plutocracy on both sides going back to great grandparents iirc. Do you know they have at least one nephew being groomed for national office now? None of that brood ever gets assassinated, unlike the Kennedys who tried to do some good. (Not that there should ever be political assassinations in the country, gods forbid; I am just making an observation.)
I want Jeb!? crushed so badly this year that his sons and nephews and the rest of the coming generations completely rethink the idea of running for so much as County dog catcher.

(3,963 posts)I think he is more self-aware of sucking, somehow. That is why he cannot win, he knows he sucks at some level, even if he denies it on the outside. Chimpy didn't, or did not care.
