I'm referring to Bernie and Hillary, obviously. Lots of love (and votes) on both sides.

(14,733 posts)For Bernie to either accept the VP slot from Hillary or ask her to be his VP would mean he's as phony as the Hillary supporters have been claiming since the beginning.

(44,130 posts)Any one who as watched the debates with any objectivity has seen cordiality and even affection between them.
I know it might make DU'ers get all unhinged crazy to see Sanders/Clinton or Clinton/Sanders.
But some primary polling I've seen indicates real-world Democrats who support HRC like Bernie. And real world Dem Bernie supporters like HRC. Numbers on both sides were around 75%
That being said I do think it is unlikely. Like orange peel, I think they'll pick a younger Democratic .
But never say never.

(12,389 posts)I lost my idol, Alan Rickman, last week, at my age, and he and I both planned to live into our eighties in good health.
It is a shame though, since I think that ticket would be unbeatable, despite the hardliners who would hate it.

Plus, either one of them needs a much younger running mate.
