I just tune out. All the ugly posts, and all the repetition. I have never put anyone on ignore, but if I could put the words "Corporate" and "corporatist" on ignore, I would. I might miss half the posts on DU these days, but that wouldn't break my heart.

As it is, I am not interested in handing the Republicans ammunition for their fall campaign against us. Ergo, I just tune most of DU out these days, and usually only respond to posts that connect with me. The rest of the vile atmosphere just doesn't contain enough oxygen for my taste. Some seem to thrive in it, and I'm perfectly happy to leave it to them. GDP these days reminds me of a scene out of "Alice's Restaurant:"

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead, burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL."

Nobody's gonna change my mind and there are plenty of others willing to do battle in GDP so I am not needed there and it's trashed.. Have all the worst on ignore, no longer read the home page, and get the news I need from LBN and the Sanders group.

Happy as a clam here!

As far as the GDP goes.. I just don't read it anymore. I would actually like to see them drop it completely.
