Jackson, Sharpton to turn out votes Monday

http://m.jsonline.com/blogs/news/156416985.html

By Patrick Marley of the Journal Sentinel 2:40 p.m. | (56) Comments Madison --

The Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are coming to Milwaukee on Monday to help turn out votes in Tuesday's recall race for governor.

The event, which includes local church leaders, is billed as a non-partisan event, but will presumably help Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, the Democratic challenger to GOP Gov. Scott Walker. Jackson and Sharpton have both been active in Democratic politics for years, and Jackson was a frequent visitor to Madison during protests last year opposing Walker's limits on collective bargaining. The event is at 10 a.m. Monday outside the Ziedler Municipal Building, 841 N. Broadway.

We need Milwaukee to go big for Barrett. It's all about the turnout. I'm afraid the NRA has brainwashed many in my area.
