I'm watching Parliament debating banning Trump...

on C-SPAN and every one of them so far agrees Trump is an asshole. "Buffoon" is the most common term used.

But, a really good debate on the terms of free speech and religious bigotry. I had no idea there were that many Muslims in Parliament, and the universal sentiment is that they are entirely welcome and have made significant contributions.

Gotta go now, but the debate goes on...

You'd think this would be embarrassing to Trump . . . but I imagine that's probably wrong. He'll wear it as a badge of honor. At least "buffoon" is on record. LOL.

There was another Scottish lady speaking who seemed more concerned with the economics of Trump and less about the bigotry. It's all very interesting and my husband pointed out that unlike in this country, there are actually representatives of the people in the room. Here they blah, blah, blah to an empty house while the others are out fundraising.

Another critical difference is that there are working class MPs although Britain has serious problems re the 'public school boys' and their interests versus the rest of Britain.
