Cole Miller, a teenage water polo player, dies in Brisbane after the one-punch attack on him in Brisbanes Fortitude Valley. The incident took place on Sunday at about 3:35 am.
Cole Miller was the younger brother of Olympian Billy Miller. He was a victim of unprovoked assault, reported
the guardian. The 18-year-old was knocked unconscious after a night out on the town.
According to
Mail Online, Detective Thomas Armitt said that Cole did not cause any issues. He was walking through the mall with the intent to catch a cab. The police confirmed that he was attacked once on the back of his head and hit the pavement. He got serious injuries from the attack.
ABC stated that he was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital in a life threatening condition. Police confirmed his death today.

The father of a teenage water polo player killed in an allegedly unprovoked, one-punch attack in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley has remembered his son as a "brave young man".
Cole Miller, 18, was knocked unconscious on Duncan Street in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane's entertainment precinct about 3:35am on Sunday after a night out on the town.
Police said he was struck once in the back of the head and hit the pavement, leaving him with serious injuries.
He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a life-threatening condition. ... On Monday afternoon, police confirmed he had died.
