Out because it was something like 13.50 rather than 10.50 advertised?

the scene where they drew and quartered Jar Jar Binks with Kylo Ren's light saber was okay, but there were better parts.

Gen. Leia Organa or whatever her name is. She hasn't been in many movies, and it reminded me of how much time had passed since the first time I saw her. She was wonderful and looked fantastic. I can't imagine anyone else in the role. I won't comment on or spoil the other appearances.

I don't think there have been many sequels that have the multi-decade expanse keeping original characters that age appropriately, like me.

Episode 7 is slightly better, and I do mean slightly, than episode 1, but all the other 5 are better. Lots better.

It was a foregone conclusion that JJ would make a mess of it, and seeing the movie was just a confirmation. The film contains LOTS of examples of 'made for tv' level bad. I wont list them all, but I'll touch on the biggest and worst example:

Establishing Kylo Ren at the very beginning of the film as a badass force user who could stop and hold laser bolts in mid air for a significant duration using the dark side (something which not even vader or palpatine could do), but then later in the movie the scene in which Ren has troubles pulling a light saber out of a pile of snow, similar to luke in the snow cave in 'empire'.

That's a big enough hole to drive a planet through. Typical JJ. The decision to leave that in the movie, was as monumentally stupid as destroying Vulcan right out the gate in his trek 'reboot'.

*GREAT* movie!

After seeing this movie, I'd have to say the best part IMO was the credits, because it meant it was finally over.

While I enjoy some of the original stuff Abrams has done, I have yet to see one single thing which hes 'remade' 'rebooted' or otherwise 'JJ-fied', which I couldn't say was worse than the original.

Minor generic rant:

Can I just mention here that I think 'reboot' is one of the single worst terms ever used about movies? When I 'reboot' my computer, it doesn't power down then power back up as a completely different, less powerful, less capable, less enjoyable, machine.

But it made sense that they would put him in a life support suit to keep his wisdom and knowledge base a part of the storyline. Because, how else would they do it?
