There go the Dems again, conceding the moral high ground to the Republicans. This strategy of turning W's biggest failure (Iraq) into his greatest success (Islam) will, predictable, blow up in their face.

I'm sure this puts the rest of the world at ease.

President Barack Obama, under pressure to be more aggressive on terrorism, regularly cites his predecessor's refusal to demonize Muslims or play into the notion of a clash between Islam and the West. It's a striking endorsement from a president whose political rise was predicated on opposition to the Iraq war and Bush's hawkish approach in the Middle East.

As Hillary Clinton put it, "George W. Bush was right."

I thought we were the party of truth. So we bash our leaders for telling the truth. It's all bush has. It will not affect the election one way or the other.

I don't think it makes much difference to voters really. Saying a kind truthful word about a former president probably was forgotten by most two seconds after stated.

"George Bush was right" infuriates me, and it should infuriate everyone, not just Americans. It's just another example of Dems conceding the Iraq War narrative to the Rs. No one else has been right, let alone a Democrat? Opens the door for Cheney et. al. to bloviate about how they were right and criticize Obama, to which the Dems won't respond. The Dems gave it away years ago. When taken as a whole, and not looking at this as an isolated incident, it's reckless and will continue into the next Dem administration should Hillary win. Letting Rs control the narrative is always a loser, I can't understand how this is controversial. John Kerry got "swift boated" because he didn't respond.
