I want to share with all here on DU the BEST Christmas gift I have ever received
A message from an old friend came today:
Dear Friends and Family, faux cousins and Godmothers, Carny Crew members, Cemetery compatriots, & Burners with a Cause, Feast of Foolers, Halloween roller skaters, Turkeys in Heaven, Sat Nam'ers, Wedding celebrates, 2 & 3/4 fanciers, CCAH Coffeehouse Bohemians,Peace Patrollers, Cancer survivors, kindred spirits. WWHS Prexy Tigers, East Camden Marauders, Hippie Reunionites, Santa Fe transplants, Paonia Pioneer Hippies, Carbondale Friends of the Fair, MoTowners, Epic HitchHiker rides, Leon the Goatman, Berkley California mail workers, Ping-pongers, Conservation Voters New Mexico work colleagues, and our gone but not forgotten Sisters & Brothers...and whoever else i may have temporarily forgotten.
I Have the Best News EVER!!.....the cancerous tumor that took up residence in me rectum....is GONE!!.....the recent PET Scan shows it 'resolved' - in medical terms that means GONE.....Friggin Gone.
I have so much to say to you all - but i can't possibly accomplish any more than this email..I am fired up and ready to go....I am 'topped'..but soon...like real soon I will send out an e-Blast email to you all...giving you the inside scoop....as it were.
For now - i can only say thank you to you all for keeping in contact with Paula & yours truly...and thanks to everyone who participated in the 420 prayer circle and healing bridge...and there are lots of you - .
Send me your name or someone you know who is dealing with health issues and trials that could use some kind thoughts & prayers coming their way.
The Prayer and Good Vibes network worked for me and it could work for you..I could feel the Love.

As someone who was a caregiver to a husband with Stage 3 oral cancer, a clear PET scan is a HUGE relief.
That is wonderful news!
