Shots fired at mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, at least one dead: media

At least one person was killed when shots were fired inside a mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday, local media reported.

WBTV reported that a gunman had been shot and killed, citing a source. Other media reported that at least one person was injured, citing paramedics.

One witness told television station WCNC that he heard multiple shots and then was swept up in a crush of people running away.

"I just think it is crazy what is going on here," Donald Campbell said in an interview with the TV station.

Video from the broadcaster showed a line of police cars outside the mall.

I got to the point where I snapped when it came to some of the more WTF alerts and in my "Leave It Alone" comments posted stuff about the alerters that was worse than anything in the post they alerted on.

I like Juror 7's comments on this one. I said pretty much the same thing to a lot of the alerters, before I was banished to the part of Santa's Workshop where i was no longer allowed to participate in future reindeer games. Except my comments had a lot more profanity and supportive, encouraging feedback like "why don't you grow a thicker skin and grow the f*ck up?"

I think that's what caused me to be banished. And that's a mild example.

In NC to get a handgun legally from any source you must first get a pistol purchase permit from the County Sheriff, and his background and age means that there is no way he would have been issued one.
