4. He's referring to the nomination, not the general election.

And, unless the RNC does something to kneecap him he might very well win the nomination. Of course if the party does sabotage him I wouldn't be surprised if he did run as a 3rd-party candidate just to fuck them over.

Wouldn't that be a hoot! Trump promised not to mount a Third Party run this election. But the RNC never promised not to do so. I would be rolling with laughter if Trump wins the Republican nomination and the entire RNC ran off and formed a new organization.
