Talk radio supports Ted Cruz openly! This is a sea change.

Most of the big guys never actually backed Trump, just used him to draw in viewers, and it's looking as if they feel it's almost time to move on.

Also,
* New poll has Cruz 4% behind Trump nationally. Only 4%.
* Cruz is very well funded, secondary only to Bush. Billionaires and
the Christian right, as well as white supremacists, support him more every day.
* Cruz's campaign is very well organized, building on what the Obama team developed.
* Cruz has positioned himself to take the GOP base from the others.
* Cruz is brilliant, extremely well educated, and speaks very well.

Unless The Anionted One shoots himself down before them, like maybe decompensating, it's looking as if this most extreme of the GOP candidates may well end up their nominee. Laura Ingraham is calling Cruz "Reaganesque."

"Talk radio rallies around Ted Cruz. As Trump and Rubio attack, the 2016 contender’s right-wing friends circle the wagons." http://www.politico.com/story/2015/12/ted-cruz-talk-radio-supporters-216950#ixzz3v5Yce05g

American, so most scholars feel he was born American too, and that is long-established practice. But some do argue otherwise, nevertheless, and I'm sure it'd be poked constantly.

Too bad for Cruz he isn't running as a Democrat, right? We wouldn't care if his dad was Cuban and became a Canadian citizen while they were living there, that Cruz has a Hispanic surname, or that he just happened to be born in Canada.

But a large slice of conservatives have a knee-jerk rejection of "outsiders," especially brown-skin outsiders. As we know all too well. They may support him, but they're already unhappy and somehow I doubt Cruz can make hem happy to vote for him. And, of course, we can be sure they, and we, would be even less happy after they elected him.
