As Christians Arm Themselves, Pastor Gets Shot By Gun Safety Instructor

Local police say the instructor was using a realistic prop gun for the demonstration, but may have confused it with a real (and loaded) firearm that was nearby.

At first, the incident doesn’t seem all that remarkable. A little ironic, perhaps, but nothing unexpected. Besides, isn’t Mr. Smith’s profession as a family pastor just a red herring? Couldn’t he simply be someone interested in firearms who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Not when you consider the ridiculous new trend among some of California’s churches: arming their flocks.
It’s almost as if they had opened up their New Apostate version of the Bible, and read, “And the LORD said unto him: ‘You have the right and responsibility to defend yourself and your family from harm. I recommend .577 tyrannosaur rounds, capable of blowing an elephant’s fucking face off from 300 yards. Check this shit out, bruh.'”, in the book of Ronnie Raygun, 4:20.

“Modesto Police say they were acting out a scenario when a loaded gun the instructor was holding accidentally went off. They say they gun fired at the end of class after the instructor put a mock gun down and picked up his real loaded gun. Police say so far it’s unclear if the instructor believed he was using the mock gun he had been using to teach the class.”
