It's increasingly clear that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, isn't acting as a neutral party Chair, trying to insure a fair and democratic primary and building the Democratic Party in the states.
Rather, she's acting as a shill for Hillary Clinton, doing everything in her power to ensure that no one will effectively challenge Hillary's coronation as the nominee.
Wasserman Schultz is committing political malpractice and should be removed.
Remember that Wasserman Schultz was National Co-Chair of Hillary's 2008 Presidential campaign against Barack Obama and has been a loyal Clinonista. Her actions throughout the campaign have made it clear that she's misusing her position as party chair to serve as a campaign operative for Clinton and not a representative of the entire party

Saw her on CNN this am and she looked terrible, like she hadn't slept in a while. Guess Bernie got to her, he definitely pulled the strings. Doubt that she learned anything though. One word for her: FAILURE.

as avoiding impropriety itself.
The very fact that Wasserman Schultz qualifies to be ACCUSED of being in the tank for Hillary disqualifies her.
This has nothing to do with whatever your opinion of her, Hillary, or Bernie may be. It has to do with voters being able to have complete trust and confidence in the judgment and neutrality of the DNC during a Democratic party election process.

(8,776 posts)I cannot fathom the level of delusion of Democrats that still support DWS as DNC chair.
This is icky.
They are willing to lose the 2016 POTUS election by playing Machiavelli and, if they lose blame their victims, the rank and file party members, not their own impropriety.
The GOP is such a basket case the 2016 POTUS election should be a walk-over for the DP.
Disgusting.
Folks so blinded by lust for power they don't disclose their conflicts of interest and play dirty tricks and apparently have control of our Democratic Party.
Too self-impressed to play fair.

(5,025 posts)Number 4:
The Obama administration progressed so far down the road of replacing Wasserman Schultz that they even had a replacement in mind: R.T. Rybak, the former mayor of Minneapolis and a DNC vice chair. However, the presumed bad light of Obama dropping a woman from the party leadership as well as perceived dwindled support among women voters and Jewish donors seem to have swayed them to keep her in power following Obamas 2012 re-election. Some reports indicated keeping Wasserman Schultz was a part of Obamas outright benign neglect of the DNC.

(6,819 posts)She is way too divisive, she is irritating and ineffective as a national spokesperson, and she wasted the opportunity for free media during the Dem debates by putting them on Saturday nights. That has never been done before.
