Bad as things are between B and H -- Trump will be the nominee, the establishment Republicans will run a John Anderson style independent candidate, and in that case, it will be ours to lose.
I just wish we weren't working so hard at losing it.

Doubt Republicans will run someone against Trump. But they will get more serious about derailing his campaign.
Thing is no one is addressing the massive dissatisfaction with both traditional parties. More and more people are unhappy about the direction they take and feel unrepresented. Today I took my daughter to a birthday party and all the parents mentioned being very worried about the upcoming election. No one liked any of the candidates calling them bad and worse. There were two who liked Bernie but worried he had no chance of getting the nomination. (This is in Santa Monica)
Yesterday at a screening was much the same. One person even said he wished Obama could run a third time. This is going to be the strangest election cycle ever.
