I went to DI to look around...

I didn't stay long, so my comment is by no means comprehensive, but I thot it was funny, that on this one thread people were all agog and atwitter with the idea that scores of du people would be bursting on to DI.

that was it. I was not tempted to go further.

Someone already had "Katsy" so I signed up as katsy1. For no reason cause I'll not go there again. Just wanted all who do go that I'm a different Katsy.

I saw the same as you. Everyone thinking DI would be the go-to place for DUers.

I found the conservatives there to not be interested in discussion at all. One stated that we keep the 1st 15 amendments, return power to states and iirc kill all liberals and world peace would follow.

Vile. IMO paid trolls reading rw talking points. No back and forth sharing of ideas or compromise.

Never going back.

I think I've admitted before, but I don't care. When I signed up for DI to "try it out" in May of 2014, we were being encouraged to have alternative names by Skinner.

I'm KissKiss (long story) and I had a hell of a conversation with some mental midget conservatives, but in so doing, had some good conversations (guessed right... not conservatives, but people who left here).

I'll give them one thing, their spelling was better than I expected. Not like the signs the Baggers carry.

One OP made me laugh though. Some mouth breather was a confirmed climate change denier. He had his own amen corner and he actually gave Faux Snooze as a source to back up his position.
