Palestinian "leader" claims violence is "justified."

Combine this with Palestinians who do suicide attacks being celebrated as "martyrs," even on childrens' programming, is it any wonder no one wants anything to do with so many of them?

Abbas: Palestinian violence is “justified popular uprising”

RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas referred to the last three months of violence Monday as a “justified popular uprising”.

Abbas’s comments came as a new poll shows widespread Palestinian support for ongoing attacks on Israelis. Later Monday, a Palestinian from east Jerusalem rammed his car into a crowded bus stop, wounding nine before bystanders shot him dead.

Israeli leaders have accused Abbas and other Palestinian leaders of inciting the violence with incendiary rhetoric. Abbas has previously refrained from either endorsing or condemning the attacks, often referring to the wave of violence as understandable but not in the best interests of the Palestinian people.

1. Silly Abbas. Only violence AGAINST Palestinians is justified. Not violence BY them

That's how the world works, chump. The powerful are allowed to inflict any amount of violence they wish upon the powerless, and that's okay. even admired. But for the weaker party to inflict violence against the stronger, that is a cardinal sin in our hegemon. The conquered and subjugated must know their place, and that place is under a boot!

Isn't it funny how eagerly "liberals" forget the entire concept of power differentials when someone they like is on the powerful side of that differential?

And the fact that some liberals excuse Palestinians from any consequences just makes it worse.

If I point out that women are second-class in Gaza or the West Bank, and being gay is illegal, it's blamed on Israel.

The fact that Arafat and his family stole billion$ in aid to the Palestinians is blamed on Israel.

Israel was blamed for "poisoning" Yassir Arafat, and the investigation was long on accusations, but nonexistent on evidence.
Israel gets blamed anyway.

Hamas used schools and hospitals to launch their terror weapon rockets, Israel gets blamed.
Hamas propaganda is piped into Palestinian homes, calling for the destruction of Israel and killing Jews, and Israel gets blamed.
