Declaring Caitlyn Jenner a spokesperson for trans issues, is much like declaring Kim Kardashian the spokesperson of feminism. Kardashian way well be a feminist, but her experience just does not mirror most of our lives. Jenner can well be the spokesperson of ultra wealthy transpeople, but that is really the only demographic she can adequately represent.
One thing that has always been important for me, and it may seem very self-absorbed or whatever, is . . . your presentation of who you are, Jenner, 66, said. I think its much easier for a trans woman or a trans man who authentically, kind of, looks and plays the role.
The reality star added, I try to take [my presentation] seriously. I think it puts people at ease. If youre out there and, to be honest with you, if you look like a man in a dress, it makes people uncomfortable.

most transpeople don't have an army of surgeons and designers to make them look as feminine/masculine as possible.
