TYT: US Police Vs. Good Police: A Comparison

Published on Dec 7, 2015

The way United States police officers and those in other advanced countries is different. Here in the US, we like to shoot people dead. In most of Europe, not so much. The numbers are staggering. Cenk Uygur, host of the The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"Officers stormed a flat in Enfield, north London, after hearing reports of a man with a gun threatening to shoot someone.

James Fox, 43 was killed after armed police entered the flat on Sunday, making him the first person killed by police in the UK this year.

This is compared to the 776 people who have been killed by police in the USA so far this year.

Cops in the US need much more training on de-escalation techniques. Way too trigger-happy.
