Fox News Suspends 2 Contributors After ‘Inappropriate’ Comments Against Barack Obama

Fox News contributors Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash are prohibited from network appearances for two weeks after “inappropriate and unacceptable” comments about President Barack Obama, a Fox official said.

During a December 7 appearance on Fox Business, Fox News strategic analyst Ralph Peters said of President Obama after his Oval Office address last night: “I mean this guy is such a total pussy, it’s stunning.” Host Stuart Varney told Peters he can’t “use language like that on the program,” and Peters replied that he was sorry.

While co-hosting Outnumbered, contributor Stacey Dash reacted to Obama’s remarks by stating: “I felt like he could give a shit — excuse me, like he could care less.”

CNN’s Brian Stelter reported today that the two commentators “were suspended on Monday for using profanities while criticizing President Obama on Monday”:

“Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air,” Fox senior executive vice president Bill Shine said.

“Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks,” he said.

"I didn't think anything said against President Obama on Fox was ever considered inappropriate!"

Instead, it was simply an FCC violation. I've heard far worse language on PBS ever since they first began airing Monty Python

Fox operates on cable, FCC has no authority over cable, don't even need a license to air over cable channels.

"pussy" and "shit" that got them a time out, not that they insulted President Obama.

Fox has standards, you know.
