So Trump caved on the $5 million appearance fee demand (CNN debate)?

Donald Trump says he’ll take part in the Dec. 15 Republican debate in Las Vegas — but he won’t be getting paid for his appearance.

“When you’re leading in the polls, I think it’s too big of a risk to not do the debate,” Trump told The Washington Post during an interview at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., on Thursday. “I don’t think I have the kind of leverage I’d like to have in a deal and I don’t want to take the chance of hurting my campaign. So I’ll do the debate.”

Trump had proposed the idea on Monday during a campaign stop in Georgia that he would boycott the debate if CNN didn’t pay him $5 million and that he would donate the proceeds to veterans.

Isn't he trying to sell America on the idea that he's the ultimate "Negotiator's Negotiator"? This doesn't bode well for him in that area at all!
