It's the day after the 2016 Presidential Election...

The Democratic nominee (not the topic of this post so the nominee is irrelevant) has won handily after the Republican nominated candidate and third party candidate Donald Trump split the conservative vote.

Donald Trump holds a press conference announcing that he disavows every platform from his campaign, and that he ran simply to demonstrate how many Americans would support a fascist, racist, bigoted campaign. For the purpose of this discussion, let's assume he's being 100% honest (difficult to assume, I know).

I'm curious as to how people here (and across the US) would react to such an admittedly far fetched scenario.

What is your reaction?

I seem to remember that right after he had completed his concession speech, the stall door in the men's restroom hit him in the ass.

But in this case, don't worry because the Donald packs, and he has made sure everyone knows that.

However on the other hand, as I understand it, regardless of election outcomes, El Chapo still has a rather large bounty on the Don's head that is enough to guarantee someone a very cushy rest of their life, somewhere on their own private Island.

Nutty birther tea party scum for a long time
In 2011, when he was vocally mulling over a possible presidential run, Trump launched a public pursuit of Obama's birth certificate, announcing that he has sent private investigators to Hawaii to see what they could find.

The president then released the long-form version of his birth certificate in response to the uproar that Trump had caused. After its release, Trump said that he was "proud of myself because I've accomplished something nobody has been able to accomplish."

In the scenario I presented above, I would personally not give a single shit if it was all a "ruse". The harm he has wrought upon so many people already as a result of his hateful rhetoric is beyond measure. In my opinion, he has made open bigotry socially acceptable.

This was more of a question I wanted to pose out of mere curiosity based on a discussion I had with some friends who jokingly wondered if Trump is simply seeing how far he can go while still maintaining his popularity in the polls.

His uuuuuge ego wouldn't accept that he lost. He would be busy blaming the American people, the republican party, all of his opponents.....and so on and so on.

The idea of a fascism stress test for the nation is intriguing, but something I'd rather not endure.
